Pixbyshep Signs Book Deal for ‘Beautiful Still’

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — July 13, 2026 — Photographer Tony Shepherd, known online as Pixbyshep, has signed a publishing agreement with DashBook for his forthcoming photography book, Beautiful Still.

Currently in development and scheduled for release in 2027, Beautiful Still will explore Shepherd’s signature approach to photography: finding beauty in the overlooked and paying close attention to the people, places, objects, and moments that are often passed by.

Through photographs of quiet spaces, familiar objects, overlooked details, and ordinary life, the book will invite readers to slow down and notice the beauty already present around them.

“There is beauty all around us, especially in what is easily overlooked,” Shepherd said. “The ‘little people’ and the ‘little places’ are truly wonderful. My work is about paying attention to them and honoring what was already there.”

Beautiful Still represents a different pace from Shepherd’s previous book, Nashville: A Photographic Journey Through Music City. While that project documented the character, people, and visual rhythm of Nashville, the new collection will be quieter and more contemplative in its focus.

The book will bring together Shepherd’s work across fine-art, still-life, street, and observational photography into a collection centered on presence, patience, and the art of noticing.
